About Paulina

Hi there, Paulina here! I wanted to give a little back story on myself, and how I found this wonderful career of mine.

I was born and raised in Hawaii, where I spent most of my time outdoors with all the critters Hawaii has to offer. I knew from an early age I had a different relationship with animals from the other kids, and connected with them on a deeper level. I have had all types of pets throughout my life (dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, etc.) My first full time job out of high school was dog grooming, which I absolutely loved doing for about 5 years. I took a break from the animal world to pursue a fine arts degree in college, and explored working in a hair salon for another 5 years. After a while, I knew I had to go back to the pet world - I missed it! I got a job working for a holistic pet food company, starting as a sales associate and quickly moving my way up to management. During my time there I went through extensive training regarding pet nutrition, pet safety, and pet behavior. After about 8 years with this company, I started considering a new career path - pet care! I worked as a dog handler for a couple different companies, and very quickly realized I wanted to start my own.

For the first time in my life, I am SURE this is what I’m meant to do! The bonds that I form with my clients and their pets are unmatched, and I couldn’t imagine dedicating my life to anything else. Loving what I do is an understatement, and I can’t wait to meet your furry (or scaly) loved ones!
